Malababa designs and leather
Every piece that Malababa designs is handmade in Spain by the best artisans with natural and high quality materials. Malababa does not use strong chemicals on the leather used on the handbags. Malababa´s leathers are treated as naturally possible.  Small imperfection, marks and slightly variations in tones could appear in the leather due to inherent animal characteristics and the natural sun light; besides, as it is not waterproof, leather cannot be in contact with the rain or dampness. 

Malababa´s History
Malababa was founded in 1997 by Ana Carrasco. The start was more like a personal project. Malababa´s origin was designing and creating ready to wear accessories. It was not until the beginning of 2003 when Malababa took a professional approach.
Malababa is now present in over 30 wholesale shops in Spain and the expansion continues to countries such as: Japan, US, Mexico or Argentina.
In 2006 Malababa opened an atelier in the center of Madrid where all creations and designs take shape. Since then, Malababa has become a reference worldwide in fashion, present in over 300 stores in 20 different countries. This spring, Malababa has opened its third own store in Madrid.
The elegance and originality of the designs, the richness and high quality of the materials are key in Malababa´s unmistakable style.
